Windowless Sampling
Windowless sampling involves a small tracked rig driving sample tubes into the ground. Generally used for shallower holes and site coverage, it provides a cost effective means of eliciting data from the ground.
Our rigs are transported to site along with all necessary equipment in the back of a ‘transit sized’ van. Where ground conditions permit, depths of 10 metres are achievable.
Dynamic probing and standard penetration tests are carried out in accordance with BS EN ISO 22476. On completion, gas and groundwater monitoring wells can be installed.
Lead drillers hold NVQs and all operatives possess CSCS cards. Full health and safety documentation such as risk assessments, method statements, COSHH etc; is carried in each van.
