Since 2008 RP Drilling has provided windowless sampling services to both the geotechnical and environmental industries. Our company uses the latest Archway Engineering Competitor windowless sampling rigs to supply a rapid and reliable drilling service.

We carry out Dynamic probing tests and Standard penetration tests in accordance with BS EN ISO 22476 and also install gas and groundwater monitoring wells.

The rigs are track mounted and transported to site, along with all necessary equipment, in the back of a ‘transit sized’ van. We are able to drill to depths of up to 10m below ground level, where ground conditions permit.

Lead drillers hold NVQs and all operatives possess CSCS cards. Full health and safety documentation such as risk assessments, method statements, COSHH etc; is carried in the vans at all times.

In addition to our drilling services we have full utility surveying capabilities.

The precise locations of any existing underground services can be vital to any project. Identifying the location of these services prior to any ground investigation enables you to work with the confidence and knowledge that you have limited the possibility of an underground service strike and are complying with the HSG 47 document.

Using the latest non-intrusive technologies RP Drilling can provide borehole clearances, utility mapping, site mark out, drainage and GPR surveys.

The Directors of RP Drilling are also site operatives. You contact us and we come to site.
